DROP-IN ART WORKSHOPS / STUDIO 1 @ THE BBAC

Join us once a month for drop-in workshops featuring art projects that entertain & educate. All materials are provided, & you can expect to complete a project in about 45 minutes.

SECOND TUESDAYS, 11 AM-2 PM

Admission is COMPLIMENTARY, thanks to Home Instead.

May 11th- Reverse Glass Painting
Capture the light with a painting done on the reserve side of a glass suncatcher.

June 8th- Framed!
Cover your frame in aluminum metal tooling.  Then put a mirror or a favorite photo in yor one of a kind decorated frame.

Studio 1 is both a physical classroom studio as well as a growing outreach program initiative, involving the BBAC’s work with organizations who serve people with special needs. Instruction & workshops sessions are led by a team that includes teaching artists with art therapy skills & experience trained to handle varying skills & abilities (social, physical, mental, emotional & artistic).

The Birmingham Bloomfield Art Center is located at 1516 S. Cranbrook Rd., Birmingham MI 48009...just north of 14 Mile Rd.
Cranbrook Rd. is Evergreen south of 14 Mile, so essentially, we are located at 14 Mile & Evergreen.
